Our Lawyers
Boorman Lawyers is operated by two Gold Coast Lawyers, Joshua Boorman and Tegan Boorman. Both studied for their law degree on the Gold Coast and spent the first 4 years of their career working for Gold Coast based law firms. In 2011, they relocated to Sydney to gain valuable experience on a larger scale in their chosen areas of practice. For Joshua, this was in traffic and criminal law. For Tegan, this was in corporate and commercial law.
Firm History
Having gained five additional years experience in fast paced Sydney law firms (as well as in-house for Tegan) Joshua and Tegan returned to the Gold Coast in the middle of 2016, at which time Joshua commenced Boorman Lawyers. At that time offering only traffic and criminal law services. In early 2018, Tegan joined the firm and expanded the firm’s practice areas out to include corporate, commercial, intellectual property and estate planning and administration services.
Client Experience
Today the firm offers these legal services to both Queensland and New South Wales based clients, and the firm continues to grow at a fast rate. Whilst our Lawyers base themselves on the Gold Coast, one of our Lawyers is usually in Sydney at least once each week to service our Sydney based clients.
Our traffic law clients can arm themselves with Joshua’s extensive knowledge and experience in these matters to provide themselves with the best chance of a positive outcome at their final hearing.
Our business law clients can take advantage of Tegan’s in-house legal experience to seek out cost effective commercial outcomes in their business dealings. Our young but experienced Lawyers are forward thinking and understand the challenges faced by online businesses.
Boorman Lawyers offer the expertise found in large law firms, but with a boutique firm experience for our clients, as well as boutique firm prices to match the experience. This means that our lawyers are approachable, responsive and adopt a can-do attitude. We know that our clients want the best result at a competitive price. We aren’t the cheapest (and make no apology for that), but we do produce excellent results and offer a more enjoyable experience than prospective clients might otherwise have come to expect from their dealings with Lawyers. And we’ll do it all for an agreed fixed fee. That’s our difference.
