Legal Support Packages (LSPs)

Our Legal Support Packages (LSPs) are an ideal alternative to hiring an in-house lawyer or engaging a law firm on an hourly (or fixed fee per job) basis.
They are the perfect solution where you want someone who knows your business and your appetite for risk, and where you want a person you can call upon when you need them (even just for small things), knowing they won’t be watching the clock to work out how much to charge you.
We created our LSPs to provide businesses with a need or a desire for a true trusted commercial legal advisor, with an ability to tap into the same level of service they could expect from an in-house lawyer, without the risk and long-term commitment. As an LSP client, you can expect to work with us both in person at your office, and remotely from ours via email and phone.
LSPs can be utilised as an extension of an existing in-house legal team where there is a need for additional resources, or where there is no in-house team currently in place.
Our LSP head advisor, Tegan Boorman, has over 11 years experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer. She draws on her experience as an in-house legal counsel and risk manager during her years at Deloitte, as well as her experience in advising clients on corporate and commercial legal issues (from start-ups through to companies listed on the ASX) during her many years in private legal practice. She is a team player and thrives on providing business owners with advice on how they can be agile in business whilst operating within an acceptable level of risk.
LSPs are completely customisable to suit your needs. Some of the things you may wish to include in your LSP are:
- Ongoing legal support and advice.
- The development of risk management plans (including identifying risks and creating risk management strategies for dealing with them).
- Legal and risk training to existing and new staff on various issues affecting your business operations.
- The development of precedent documents for use in your business.
- Review and amendments to existing policies and establishing new ones where they do not yet exist.
- Drafting and negotiation of high volume contracting, such as influencer agreements,
sponsorship agreements, amendments to standard trading terms and conditions and
confidentiality agreements.
Fee packages for LSPs are just as customisable as the packages themselves. The fees are fixed at an agreed amount and paid on monthly retainers. Short and long term options can be negotiated.
Due to the nature of LSPs, we only accept a limited number of LSP clients at one time. This ensures that we have the time to fully understand your business and provide you with the level of service that we’re proud to offer.
